These User Terms (hereinafter referred to as “These Terms”) are a legal agreement reached between the User (hereinafter referred to as “You”) and the entity operating the Lens Video Player (hereinafter referred to as “This Application”) regarding the use of these Application Services. Please read these Terms carefully and fully understand them before using this Application, and once you use this Application, it is considered that you have accepted all the terms and contents of these Terms. These Terms may be revised at any time in accordance with legal and regulatory updates and business adjustments, and the revisions will be made public by means of prominent locations within the Application, and will take effect upon publication.
1. Service Scope and Conditions of Use
1.1 Service Content
1.1.1 This app provides you with core services such as local video import, playback, and management, supports mainstream video formats such as MP4, MKV, and AVI, has built-in HD and 4K video playback features, and provides assistive control features such as fast forward, fast back, and playback speed adjustment.
1.1.2 This App provides only local video processing services, does not provide online video playback, upload, sharing and cloud storage services (unless further features are specifically specified otherwise), and all imported video files are stored only on your personal device.
1.2 Prerequisites for Use
1.2.1 You must ensure that the devices you use meet the operating requirements of this Application, and that the device systems are in a legally authorized and secure state, to avoid abnormal functionality of this Application due to device problems.
1.2.2 You commit to being fully capable of civil conduct, and if a minor needs to use this App with the informed consent of the guardian, the guardian shall bear appropriate responsibility for the usage of the minor.
2. User Rights and Obligations
2.1 User Rights
2.1.1 You have the right to legally use all the features provided by this Application, perform management operations such as playback, renaming, deletion, etc. of imported local videos, and control your viewing pace and video library organization.
2.1.2 You have the right to request reasonable technical support and solutions from the operating entity regarding functionality failures and usage issues of this Application by specifying contact email feedback.
2.2 User obligations
2.2.1 You agree that the video files that you import and play through this Application are legally obtained, that you possess the appropriate copyrights, use rights or licenses, and that you do not violate any third party‘s intellectual property rights, privacy rights, reputation rights and other legitimate interests.
2.2.2 You are prohibited from using this App to play or process any video files containing illegal, violent, pornographic, discriminatory, hate-provoking, harmful to the public interest, etc. You are prohibited from using this App to engage in any behavior that violates local laws, regulations, and procedures.
2.2.3 You should properly safeguard your personal device and permissions to use applications, and you assume full responsibility for any video file leakage, tampering, or abuse resulting from the loss of the device or breach of permissions.
3. Application Use Standards
3.1 Legal Use Requirements
3.1.1 This Application is prohibited from reverse engineering, reverse-compiling, decoding, tampering, disassembling, or attempting to obtain the application‘s source code and core technologies. Modifying application execution parameters and bypassing functionality restrictions are prohibited.
3.1.2 The use of this Application is prohibited from interfering with, disrupting the use experience of other users, or violating the trademarks, copyrights, patents, and other intellectual property rights of this Application and operating entities.
3.2 Restrictions on Third-Party Associations
3.2.1 This App may contain links to third-party services or plug-ins. When you switch to third-party services, you are subject to the third-party user agreement and related rules. This App is not responsible for the security or legality of third-party services.
4. Data and Privacy Protection
4.1 Data Processing Principles
4.1.1 This App collects only the device basic information and video metadata (file name, format, size, storage path) necessary to achieve core functionality, and does not automatically upload your local video files and personal privacy data.
4.1.2 Operating entities will store and protect collected data in accordance with the International Common Data Protection Standards (including, but not limited to, GDPR, CCPA), adopting security measures such as encryption and access control to prevent data disclosure and tampering.
4.2 User Data Rights
4.2.1 You have the right, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, to request access, correction, and deletion of personal data. You can submit the request by contacting the email address, and the operating entity will review and respond within the statutory timeframe.
5. Intellectual Property Attribution
5.1 App Intellectual Property Rights
5.1.1 All copyrights, trademarks, patents, technical secrets, and other intellectual property rights of this Application are owned by the operating entity, and you may not use, transfer, or license them to others without the written permission of the operating entity.
5.2 Intellectual Property Rights for User Content
5.2.1 You have independent intellectual property rights or legal licenses to the imported local video files, the operating entity does not assume any auditing or warranty responsibility for such content, and disputes arising from content violations are resolved by you at your own discretion.
6. Disclaimer
6.1 Disclaimer for Functional Use
6.1.1 This Application has done its best to ensure stable functionality, but does not guarantee complete faultlessness. Operating entities are not liable for compensation and only provide reasonable technical support for application freezes, crashes, or malfunctions due to device compatibility, system version, network environment, or improper user operation.
6.1.2 This application‘s adaptation to video playback effects assumes the quality of the device hardware and video source, does not guarantee perfect playback of video in all formats and resolutions, and is not responsible for video image quality and audio quality issues.
6.2 Limitation of Liability
6.2.1 The operating entity assumes no responsibility for any losses resulting from irresistible force, third-party infringement, or the user‘s own illegal and non-compliant behavior.
6.2.2 Operating entities are not liable for compensation for indirect, incidental, and punitive losses to this Application Service, whether such losses were foreseeable or not.
7. Service Changes and Terminations
7.1 Service Changes
7.1.1 Operating entities may adjust, add, or remove functionality from this application according to the needs of business development. Users will be notified of the changes through in-app disclosure. Users will continue to use the service as if accepting the changes.
7.2 Service Termination
7.2.1 If you violate the provisions of this Ordinance, the operating entity has the right to suspend or terminate the service provided to you, and will not be liable for any compensation; upon termination of the service, you must stop using this Application, and the operating entity will process the relevant data according to law.
7.2.2 The operating entity may terminate all or part of the services of this Application 30 days in advance through public notice within the Application or by mail notification, without any additional compensation obligation to the Users.
8. Dispute Resolution
8.1 Communication and Negotiation
8.1.1 Any dispute arising from or related to this provision may first be resolved by contacting the email address and negotiating with the operating entity, with a negotiating period of 30 natural days following receipt of the application.
8.2 Legal Applicability and Regulatory Control
8.2.1 This Ordinance applies to the laws of the operating entity‘s locality. Failure to negotiate is resolved by filing a lawsuit in the courts with jurisdiction in the operating entity’s locality, or by applying for arbitration according to the relevant international arbitration rules.
9. Other Terms
9.1 Terms of Independence
9.1.1 Any provision of this provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable without affecting the effectiveness of other provisions, and the remaining provisions should remain valid and be strictly enforced.
9.2 Notification and Delivery
9.2.1 Notifications from the operating subject can be delivered via in-app pop-ups, announcements, emails, etc., and upon delivery are considered valid; notifications you submit to the operating subject need to be sent through the specified contact email address, and upon confirmation by the operating subject become valid.
